My journey of self-actualization began Mid 2004. It was only until then i began to sense my growing capacity and abilities in various fields other than what is academic. Personally, i prefer to be able to use my mindpower to analyse, think or conceptualize rather than reading the books full of theory.
Beginning 2005, I began as editor-in-chief, to my surprise actually, for my high school's magazine. It was then i found that i'm very much interested in designing. By end of 2005, i was very joyful for my work done, as i see thousands of the school magazines were printed and distributed in school.
These are some samples of my work on the 124-pages school magazine:

Looks primitive because it's my first attempt at using Adobe Illustrator... anyway, that's how i'm learning -- trial & error. =P
The design gathers everyone's smiles to form the shape of the Peninsular of Malaysia. This concept bears the message reminding students and teachers to wear their smiles always. "Smile is contagious", and so, we use the opportunity to spread the "disease of smiles" to whomever that owns this magazine.
